For Gautam Kumar, breaking free from family expectations was not easy. He came from a family where having a job was common, and no one knew about entrepreneurship. His ideas of starting a business were met with opposition, criticism, and even mockery. His relatives argued with him, called him unrealistic, and even questioned his judgment.
But Gautam decided to create his own path. He knew that to succeed in business, he needed skills, knowledge, and confidence—things he lacked. That’s when he discovered the Skill Development Program (KYP).
Through KYP’s entrepreneurship training, digital literacy courses, and communication skills modules, he gained the tools needed to start his own business. More importantly, KYP instilled in him the belief that his dreams could come true.
Despite numerous challenges, he took his first step—starting a small business where he applied his newfound knowledge of business operations and financial management. Gradually, even the relatives who once doubted him saw his success as he expanded his venture and began providing jobs to others.
Today, Gautam is not just a businessman—he is an employer, a change-maker, and a symbol of resilience. His story is a beacon of hope for every young person who dares to dream differently, proving that challenges should be faced, not feared.
